Secrets of Malaga: a festival in a magical place
The Caves of Nerja, a unique natural environment discovered by five young people from the area in 1959 in the district of Maro, is the setting for one of the most peculiar music and dance festivals that we can find.
Between stalactites, stalagmites and with very special acoustics, this festival is celebrated, which has been attended by artists such as Ainhoa Arteta, José Carreras, Montserrat Caballé, Antonio Canales or José Carreras, among many others.
In its first edition, back in 1960, a representation of Swan Lake was held. This year 2022, after the break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it arrives in its 61st edition with certain nuances.

On its return after the break due to the health situation, the festival returns but with limitations: this year it will be held in the gardens, not inside the cave as it had previously been held. It will take place between July 21 and 30.
